Previews of Samsung’s upcoming tablets continue, proving that the launch is just around the corner. Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has been shown in every way (images and leaked specifications), and now new renders reveal how things will change with the S12+ variant in terms of the display.
Between the two devices there are notable differences on the front, but the atmosphere is the same as that of the current generation — so don’t expect radical changes!
The image above shows the screen of Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, characterized by a wide surface with thin bezels and a notch at the top.
The rumors that spoke of a completely clean panel end here: Samsung certainly has in mind a tablet with a punch-hole for the front camera (appears in some images of One UI 9), but it won’t be for this generation.
Moving to Galaxy Tab S12+, we notice a display with smaller dimensions, with slightly thicker bezels and a selfie camera integrated into the upper edge. Regarding the design, both tablets look identical to the previous Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra, so Samsung’s new features will all be under the hood.
As far as leaks show so far, the tablets will mount the same Dimensity 9500 chipset, the latest flagship SoC from MediaTek. What will change are the display and battery, both extra large on the Ultra model: 14.6″ diagonal and 11,600 mAh, versus 12.4″ and 10,600 mAh.
The panels would be the usual flat Dynamic AMOLED 2X, with support for the stylus (and S Pen included). Below you will find all the leaked specs, awaiting the launch scheduled for September. In addition to Galaxy Tab, there will also be Galaxy S26 FE and, perhaps, a new SmartTag.
