A new wave of rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has emerged, and this time the talk comes from Roland Quandt. The insider, one of the most reliable voices in the global tech scene, has laid out the full technical specs of the next flagship “economical” in the lineup (which perhaps won’t be so economical after all).
No major changes are expected, but we are dealing with a strategy that is now established: however, this year the memory crisis has driven up prices.
Consequently, one may wonder whether it is still worthwhile to target the FE range, but this question can only be answered after the debut.
The specifications reported by Roland Quandt align with the leaks so far, adding a few missing details. The design of the Gaalxy S26 FE takes after the rest of the range, with an oval island (capsule-shaped) flanked by the LED flash.
The flagship will arrive in Graphite, Pistachio and Blueberry colors, with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The panel offers a Full HD resolution, a refresh rate up to 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits (1,200 nits typical).
Under the hood we find the Exynos 2500 SoC, while the camera department is entrusted to a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical stabilization, together with an ultra-wide and a telephoto lens with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom.
The selfie camera uses a 12 MP sensor. For video enthusiasts, the main department is capable of shooting in 8K at 30 fps or in 4K up to 60 fps.
Finally the battery is revealed, but there is no surprise: it is, according to Roland Quandt, the same 4,900 mAh unit as the predecessor, still with 45W charging. There is no mention of wireless charging, strangely.
The leaker suggests the battery could be silicon-carbon, however it seems that this did not have any impact on thickness or weight, which remain 7.4 mm and 193 g (as with the S25 FE).
Below you will find the full leaked technical specifications, while for the price, according to what has leaked so far, there will be increases up to a maximum of €150 (depending on the configuration).
