Although there is not yet an official date for the market debut, the new OnePlus 16 is shown to the public, unveiling the definitive aesthetics, color options, and memory configurations planned at launch.

The company has initiated the pre-order in China phase via its official website, confirming a clear continuity with the previous generation and high-end technical specifications.

OnePlus 16, official design and color options revealed

From an external standpoint, the device opts to maintain a strong link with the previous model, the OnePlus 15, re-proposing its proportions and overall design.

The real differences, therefore, concentrate on colors and material finishes. The range includes the option Dark Forest, finished in a sober black tone, to which two more vibrant shades are added: Mars Masterpiece, presented in a delicate light orange, and Tomorrow Starlight, characterized by an elegant gray.

Both the orange and the gray versions feature a distinctive decorative texture imprinted on the rear panel, designed to confer a precise personality to the smartphone.

Memory options and start of pre-orders

Regarding storage capacity and memory, the company has prepared a range of options to meet different usage profiles.

Chinese users will be able to choose among four configurations: the initial variant includes 12 GB of memory RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, followed by the option with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of space.

Those who require the maximum performance can instead opt for models equipped with 16 GB of RAM, paired with respectively 512 GB or 1 TB of capacity.

All these trims are already visible and bookable on the manufacturer’s official online store.

Spec sheet leaks

Among the hardware details already confirmed is support for a refresh rate of 165 Hz at the OS level.

Regarding the remaining components, rumors outline a high-end profile: the device should mount the processor Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and feature an AMOLED display of 6.78 inches.

To complete the anticipated specifications, there is also a capacious 9,000 mAh battery, designed to ensure prolonged autonomy, and a rear main camera of 200 MP.
