The new Lenovo Legion beats REDMAGIC Astra 2: it’s the most powerful gaming tablet on Antutu

In the past few weeks Lenovo has begun promoting the debut of Legion Y700 Infinite, the new gaming tablet coming to the Chinese market. After rumors about the specs and a few aesthetic confirmations, the company decided to reveal the Antutu score, throwing down the gauntlet to REDMAGIC Astra 2 – the most powerful gaming model to date.

According to what Lenovo revealed, the new tablet has totaled a stunning 4.585.844 Antutu points, outperforming the average values reached in these months by REDMAGIC Astra 2. The REDMAGIC-branded rival (known in China as Gaming Tablet 5 Pro) posted an average of 4.159.341 and 4.297.377 points, a slightly lower result.

The reason is straightforward and not just about possible optimizations: under the hood of Legion Y700 Infinite beats a heart Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version.

This is the overclocked version of Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC, initially known as the Galaxy-exclusive for the Galaxy S26 series and later released for all interested Android manufacturers.

Awaiting the debut, for now only in China

The new gaming tablet is an enhanced variant of Lenovo Legion Y700 (2026), launched in March in China and subsequently also in Italy as Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5.

With Legion Y700 Infinite, in addition to the updated chipset the Asian company has introduced several aesthetic novelties, such as a circular camera module and a punch-hole for the selfie camera.

The release in China is set for the 25 August while there are still no hints about a potential Global version.
