The rumors about Apple’s upcoming devices are taking on increasingly clear contours, especially thanks to the recent publications of Jon Prosser through his channel Front Page Tech.

The leaker, known for a proven reliability in the industry, has recently shared realistic renders that offer the sharpest look yet at the much-talked-about iPhone Ultra foldable. These 3D models are not based solely on rumors, but find solid corroboration between the lines of code in the beta version of iOS 27.

The wait for the September event, the moment when the new form factor is expected to debut alongside the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, is growing exponentially.

The device features a book-like design that, when opened, closely resembles the proportions of an iPad. Closed, the phone shows a bulky footprint, but when opened reveals a thickness of only 4.5 mm, significantly thinner than the iPhone Air, which sits at 5.6 mm.

The chassis is entirely made of titanium, a material chosen to guarantee robustness and allow everyday use even without protective cases, and will be offered in the white and black colors.

Under the chassis, performance will be powered by the Apple A20 processor and 12 GB of RAM, along with an unprecedented satellite modem.

The pursuit of extreme compactness has, however, required evident sacrifices in the optical department: the rear module houses only a single main camera and an ultra-wide camera, eliminating the telephoto lens entirely.

Software exclusivity and market comparison

If the physical features capture attention, it’s the software aspect that raises the most relevant questions. The real novelty highlighted by the video concerns the implementation of a highly functional split-screen multitasking.

The critical detail of this feature lies in its distribution: the ability to run two apps side by side seems to be an absolute exclusive of the Ultra variant. This means that anyone opting for any other iPhone 18 will not be able to take notes while watching a video or chat while browsing, remaining confined to a single screen.
