Last update: November 17 – The year 2025 for the Chinese manufacturer closes with a double announcement dedicated to the mid-to-high end. OPPO Reno 15 and 15 Pro officially debut in their homeland, offering us a preview of what we can expect in our latitude in the coming months: here are all the details on technical specifications, price and release, while awaiting more information about the Global debut.
Despite months of rumors, the Reno 15 series will not add a new model. A triple lineup is not planned and there would be neither OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max nor Reno 15 Mini. This is a necessary start given that previous leaks were indeed many.
So, just like with Reno 14 and 14 Pro, this time too there are two smartphones. Regarding the design, there are no drastic changes and we see a rectangular camera module with rounded edges and a flat display. The only differences with the previous models concern the color options and the positioning of the LED flash and the third camera sensor, so small tweaks and nothing else.
Gadgets feature a metal frame and IP69 certification against dust and liquids, with differences in size and an AMOLED display.
The smaller model relies on a 6.32″ display, while the Reno 15 Pro rises to 6.78″, a notable difference compared to Reno 14 base (6.59″) and Reno 14 Pro (6.83″). Both phones support a 120 Hz refresh rate and an in-display optical fingerprint reader.
Initially there were rumors of a Pro Max model with even a Dimensity 9400 aboard. In reality, the technical specs of OPPO Reno 15 and 15 Pro do not reinvent anything: both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, i.e. the Reno 14 Pro SoC.
On Geekbench, both Reno 15 (codename PLW110) and Reno 15 Pro (codename PLV110) appeared, with the already mentioned MediaTek SoC.
For autonomy there are silicon-carbon batteries of 6,200 mAh and 6,500 mAh with 80W fast charging. The Pro model adds 50W wireless charging, as the predecessor did.
Both OPPO Reno 15 and 15 Pro position themselves as Camera Phones: this path had already been anticipated thanks to the improvements gradually introduced, culminating in a triple-sensor setup with a periscope telephoto for both the base Reno 14 and the Pro variant.
With the new generation we see another step forward with the introduction of a triple camera system at 200 + 50 + 50 MP (f/1.8-2.0-2.8) with Samsung HP5, OIS, 116° ultra-wide and the already mentioned periscopic telephoto with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom. The selfie camera remains a 50 MP unit, again with autofocus.
On the software side we find the latest ColorOS 16: based on Android 16 and featuring a new design (with a more fluid and customizable style), the UI allows access to numerous AI features related to productivity (audio recording, writing) and photography.
OPPO Reno 15 and 15 Pro debuted in China on November 17, at a base price of around €363 at the current exchange rate. For the Global launch, it will start from India, apparently by the end of the year or early 2026. Below you will find configurations and prices for both phones.
In Italy we have only Reno 14, together with the Reno 14 FS and 14 F versions; likely the next generation will see the Reno 15 standard as the flagship model, but as usual the final word rests with the company.
