The web browser from Samsung is about to return to Windows: images from the beta version of the mobile app reveal it. In fact, this is not the first time: in 2023 Samsung Internet made its debut in the Microsoft Store, only to mysteriously disappear shortly afterward.
Likely it was a test ahead of the final version, which is expected to appear in the coming months.
The first confirmations come from the latest beta of Samsung Internet, the browser available in mobile version: within this release there are clear references to a desktop alternative, even with a button to sign up for the first beta.
In the app settings there is a message stating PC availability in uppercase letters. In short, this doesn’t seem to be a rumor, but a forthcoming feature.
Don’t rule out that Samsung Internet for Windows could find space alongside the debut of One UI 8.5. The interim version of the software is expected to arrive with the Galaxy S26 series: the launch of the latter is expected in January as usual, but recent rumors report a possible postponement even to March.
