Huawei Nova 16 arrives in June, with a new iridescent color

It had been in the air for several days, and now the official confirmation arrives: the Chinese tech giant has announced the presentation date for the Huawei Nova 16 series, complete with teaser poster that reveals the design. No drastic changes to aesthetics, with a tried-and-true style but enriched by a new gradient color – teased in recent hours by a leaked image.

It had been in the air for several days, and now the official confirmation arrives: the Huawei Nova 16 lineup’s appointment is set for 1st June: the launch event concerns China, but from previous rumors we know that this generation should also make a global debut. It remains to be seen whether it will arrive in Europe, but for now details are scarce.

As also noted at the opening, a leaked image (now we know it is the Nova 16 Pro) has revealed the new gradient color, also shown in the teaser above: the phone features a blue body (with a wavy texture) that fades into pink.

The series is expected to include at least three smartphones: Nova 16 standard, its bigger brother 16 Pro, and the 16 Pro Max variant. It seems this year there won’t be an Ultra model. Regarding specs, the flagship model should sport an LTPO display of 6.84″ with a 1.5K resolution and a Kirin 9000 series chipset, with a battery of at least 7,000 mAh (with wired and wireless fast charging).

The camera hardware would rely on a main sensor of 200 MP with a 1/1.28″ sensor size, accompanied by a periscope telephoto; there will be — as is tradition — a multispectral sensor, ubiquitous on the Chinese giant’s smartphones.
