vivo Buds Clip Official: vivo’s first open-ear earbuds, titanium build and up to 42 hours of battery life

The event dedicated to the flagship X500 family wasn’t limited to new smartphones, but also featured other novelties on stage. Among these, vivo Watch 6 and the earbuds vivo Buds Clip: for the first time the Chinese brand has ventured into a pair of TWS clip-on open-ear earbuds, aligning with the main rivals.

vivo Buds Clip: Design, Audio, and Smart Features

Ogni auricolare pesa appena 5.2 grams and is built around a shape-memory titanium alloy bridge, designed to ensure flexibility and comfort in daily use; the design is completely symmetric, so each earbud can be worn on either the right or left ear.

The new vivo Buds Clip are available in black, white and violet, all with a pearly matte finish. On the audio front, each earbud features a 12 mm driver, paired with a 10-band equalizer and a directional-technology-based anti-dispersion mode, as well as automatic volume adjustment based on ambient noise.

For calls, vivo has integrated two microphones and a bone-conduction sensor, along with an AI-powered noise reduction system. Controls are via touch and swipe gestures for the volume, while Bluetooth allows pairing with up to three devices simultaneously.

Some advanced features, such as real-time translation and AI-powered notifications, remain reserved for vivo and iQOO smartphones.

The earbuds offer an IP55-rated resistance and a claimed battery life of up to 10 hours per charge, up to 42 hours total when counting the case. Fast charging provides up to 3 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging.

The launch price in China varies by configuration: the standard version costs 699 yuan (about €91), while the variant with a case supporting wireless charging is priced at 799 yuan (about €104).
