vivo Watch 6 official: titanium case, GPS and up to 21 days of battery life

The debut of the flagship of the vivo X500 series was the perfect opportunity to enrich its ecosystem with various novelties. Among these, the company has launched in China the new vivo Watch 6, a wearable with premium features and plenty of style, but offered at an affordable price.

The device features a 1.47″ AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 60 Hz, able to dynamically adjust between 5 and 30 Hz to save battery, a peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits outdoors and a minimum of just 2 nits in dim environments.

In terms of materials, the vivo Watch 6 is available in a standard version with a 316L stainless steel case (44 grams, 9.5 mm thick) and in a premium variant with a TC4 aerospace titanium case, of the same weight and thickness but more resistant; on both versions we have sapphire glass.

The health component relies on an 8-channel heart-rate sensor, with an average stated accuracy of 97.2%, and a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, with continuous monitoring of heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress levels; heart-rate variability (HRV) monitoring will arrive later via an OTA update.

The dual-frequency GNSS system connects to five different satellite networks; compared to the previous model, it locks onto the signal 34% faster and improves route accuracy by 10%, in addition to supporting offline maps.

It also includes NFC for contactless payments and digital car keys, and there is also optional eSIM support. On the sports side, the watch supports over 100 training modes.

Autonomy varies depending on configuration: the Bluetooth version lasts up to 10 days of typical use and is rated up to 21 days with lighter use, while the eSIM versions last about 7 days if paired with the smartphone and 4 days in standalone mode; with Always-On, autonomy drops to around 6 days across all variants.

vivo Watch 6 arrives in China in three configurations: the base Bluetooth version at 999 yuan (about €130), the standard eSIM version at 1,399 yuan (about €182) and the Titanium eSIM version at 1,999 yuan (about €260), the latter the only one also available in the Natural Color finish, in addition to the Wilderness and Moonlight shades common to all models.
