The company has online released a recent teaser video that not only provides a close look at the smartphone’s full design, but also officially announces an important long-term collaboration with the historic audio brand Bang & Olufsen.

The promotional video posted on X by Motorola reveals several aesthetic elements of the Signature 27, including the rear panel and, in particular, a grille on the top edge dedicated to a speaker. This close-up shot definitively confirms the presence of a stereo audio configuration, with speakers positioned both on the top and bottom parts of the chassis.

However, the most notable aspect is the direct involvement of Bang & Olufsen in developing the audio department. This is not a simple application of the logo “Audio by Bang & Olufsen” on the packaging, but a thorough, in-depth effort undertaken by the acoustics experts of the Danish company.

The technicians will personally work on optimizing the audio, introducing custom audio modes and new features, making listening a fundamental component of the overall user experience.

This global agreement stems from a shared vision between the two companies, firmly convinced that technology should unite high-profile performance with a carefully crafted and meaningful design.

Specifications and release

Apart from acoustic excellence, the Signature 27 is poised to stand out for its enormous photographic potential. Earlier materials have already confirmed the adoption of a main sensor Sony LYTIA with 200 MP, which many rumors suggest could be the sophisticated variant LYT-901.

To support this high-resolution camera, we will find a Super Zoom capable of reaching up to a 100x magnification and full support for the Dolby Vision technology for multimedia content.
