The brand’s official site has confirmed the main specifications of OPPO A7 Pro, coming on September 11: the standout feature is the combination of an 8,000 mAh battery and an IP69K resistance certification, two characteristics that improve the mid-range compared to the previous generation (stuck at 6,500 mAh and IP69 classification).
The 8,000 mAh battery clearly focuses on long-term endurance rather than mere daily autonomy, while details on charging power have not yet been disclosed (but we expect at least 80W).
The device is IP69K certified against water and dust, which, according to OPPO, is paired with a reinforced chassis designed to withstand daily drops and impacts. The current A6 Pro (launched also in Italy) also boasts MIL-STD-810H military durability, so a return for the successor cannot be ruled out.
On the display front, OPPO A7 Pro features an OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, designed to ensure smoother scrolling and better contrast than traditional LCD panels. The memory comes in two configurations, both with 256 GB of storage: 6/256 GB and 8/256 GB, while the processor and camera setup have not been specified by the site.
The launch software is ColorOS 16; for the debut of the new OPPO interface version (based on Android 17) we must wait until the September 17.
OPPO A7 Pro will be announced in China on September 11, with pre-orders already open on the brand’s official store. The device will be available in Riding the Waves (White), Every Step Blossoms (Pink) and Desert Brown.
The price has not yet been revealed, but early estimates suggest a figure below 2,000 yuan (less than about €257 at the current exchange rate). Even though the initial focus is on the Chinese release, OPPO’s A-series typically makes appearances in Italy as well, so we await further details.
