OPPO Reno 16 Pro Looks Like OnePlus 15 in First Live Photo

The debut of the OPPO Reno 16 series is getting closer thanks to a supposed live shot that would show the Pro’s look change. The Chinese company has kicked off the very first teasers, previewing the debut of the new mid-range devices: in the meantime leaks have already begun and they let us peek at what to expect. If you’re a fan of OnePlus and of the latest flagship from Pete Lau’s company, then this could be the phone for you.

OPPO Reno 16 Pro shown in a live photo (leak): here’s how the design of the series will change

The new design was shown by a well-known insider: the leaked photo would reveal the back of OPPO Reno 16 Pro and the Reno 16 Pro Mini variant (expected in India, as happened with the predecessor). The series’ aesthetics change style compared to the current generation: the squared camera module remains unchanged, but the positioning of the sensors and the details inside recall the look of OnePlus 15.

The device features straight edges and rounded corners; the front is not shown, but we can assume there is a flat display with a central punch-hole for the selfie camera.

Moreover, the leaker states that for the first time the Reno series will adopt the Plus Key: this is the customizable button that has retired the iconic Alert Slider and is present on various OPPO and OnePlus devices.

OPPO Reno 15 Pro

The Chinese launch of the OPPO Reno 16 line is expected for the month of May, though a date is still missing. Just as with the various Reno 15, it seems there will be differences between the series arriving in China and Global — although the design should remain the same for both families of devices.
