The new generation of foldable smartphones Samsung seems to have attracted the attention of the European public. Even before the sales launch, the Galaxy Z series has already surpassed the targets set by the company for the pre-order phase.
Furthermore the new wide format proves to be a winning choice for the Asian giant: despite the introduction of a base model with an entirely new styling, the entire series has been a success, and this very novelty has sparked considerable interest among European users.
In the first 11 days after the July 22 presentation, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra registered in Europe preorder volumes more than 20% higher than those achieved by Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the same period of the previous year.
Samsung also states that it has already surpassed the overall target set for European preorders of the new series. The data cover all European markets analyzed by the company’s European Technology Office.
Among the standout within the new range is Galaxy Z Fold 8. The model accounts for almost 40% of all preorders collected in Europe for the new-generation Galaxy Z series.
The result suggests particular interest in the redesigned format of the device, which Samsung has developed to make the transition between using the external display and the main foldable screen more natural.
The company presents Galaxy Z Fold 8 as a product suitable for both quick interactions and for reading, content playback, and gaming. Additionally, the new display ratio makes using applications in the various configurations more intuitive.
The new lineup also includes the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, a model through which Samsung aims to bring the foldable format to the top tier of its smartphone lineup.
The device combines a large main display with an evolved camera system and a battery designed to last throughout the day.
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 represents the most compact offering of the new series. Samsung has designed the device around quick interactions, personalization, and AI-based features.
Among the most important elements is the FlexWindow, through which you can access information and features without fully opening the smartphone.
