Honor’s hybrid smartphone has a habit of appearing occasionally on the occasion of major events. This time the device was spotted at the Cannes Festival: Honor Robot Phone was presented during China Night, the perfect moment to officially confirm that it’s not a concept phone, but a product that will actually hit the market.
The distinctive feature of the Honor Robot Phone is its robotic-arm camera, designed to offer professional-level footage, with advanced stabilization and high-profile imaging tools.
During the event, the company confirmed that the device will see the light in the course of the third quarter of 2026, therefore in the period between July and September (in line with previous rumors). A precise date is still missing, while there remains some doubt about the markets in which it will be distributed.
The smartphone has been among the protagonists of various events, including the MWC in Barcelona and now the Cannes Festival; despite the international flavor of the promotion, it remains to be seen whether this particular phone will remain a Chinese exclusive or will also arrive in Europe and Italy.
We recall that the Honor Robot Phone will be the first model of the brand built in collaboration with ARRI: the partnership between the two companies was announced in recent months and will bring the imaging experience and technologies of the German brand on board the devices of the Chinese manufacturer.
