Dell’s first Googlebook could even join the XPS family?

After the latest leaks regarding Lenovo’s plans and ASUS for their Googlebook, new clues indicate that Dell is preparing to debut in this sector in grand style.

This step would mark the official entry of the XPS line into the Googlebook ecosystem. The tests refer to a motherboard known internally by the codename “Mica”. This component had already appeared earlier during Chromium development and is closely associated with computers based on the Snapdragon X architecture.

Further technical details come from the software used during these tests, which shows evident links to desktop versions of Android 17, confirming integration with the platform known as Aluminium OS.
