Mouse and Earbuds Always at Hand, with Honor Choice MouseBuds Pro

It had been a while since a 2-in-1 hybrid gadget surfaced, but it was worth the wait. The approach used by Huawei some time ago was quite interesting (with the iconic Watch Buds, a watch with integrated earbuds) while Honor has chosen to focus on productivity.

The new Honor Choice Yhemi MouseBuds Pro debuts in several European countries and has also appeared in the official store in Italy, but for now they are not yet purchasable. It is an interesting 2-in-1 kit that includes a pair of TWS earbuds enclosed inside the body of a wireless mouse.

The design of the device adopts a practical and refined approach: the rear half of the mouse is equipped with a spring-loaded retractable cover that, with a smooth movement, reveals the earbuds housed inside. Inside the mouse body the earbuds are charging.

As for the pointing device, Honor has chosen a PixArt optical sensor at 1200 DPI, ideal for office tasks and daily navigation, ensuring stable tracking on various surfaces.

The mouse structure is enriched by a coating with excimer technology, which offers a silky touch on the skin and high resistance to fingerprints and wear. For those who work in shared environments, the main buttons use silent TTC switches, tested to withstand up to 5 million clicks, drastically reducing noise during use.

On the audio front, the integrated earbuds do not compromise despite their compact size. Characterized by a semi-open design for a comfortable fit, they support adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), capable of blocking ambient disturbances without isolating the ear completely.

The sound quality is entrusted to dual-magnet dynamic drivers with an LCP diaphragm. Call handling is optimized thanks to a dual-microphone system with AI noise cancellation, which filters background sounds to ensure crisp conversations even in noisy offices or crowded places.

Connectivity represents another strength of this 2-in-1 system. Thanks to the use of a single wireless receiver, the earbuds are ready to use as soon as they are removed from the mouse, without requiring any manual pairing procedure.

Honor Choice Yhemi MouseBuds Pro also supports a dual connection mode managed via a dedicated button: the “Computer Mode” connects simultaneously the mouse and earbuds via the receiver, while the “Smartphone Mode” allows the earbuds to connect independently via Bluetooth.

The entire system is powered by a 1,000 mAh battery, which guarantees an overall autonomy of up to 30 days, with fast charging via USB-C port.

Price and Release in Italy

Ultimately, the Honor Choice Yhemi MouseBuds Pro presents itself as an extremely smart solution for those who want to reduce the bulk of their tech kit. With a net weight of only 88 grams (earbuds included) and compatibility with Windows and macOS, it represents an ideal travel companion.

Launched in the European market at a price of 99,90€ in Germany and 79,99£ in the United Kingdom, at the moment the device is not purchasable in Italy. However it is available in the official Honor store (with all the technical details), a sign that our debut here will happen very soon.
