In the coming months, several Redmi devices will arrive in China, but of course Western Mi Fans’ attention is fixed on the models that will debut globally. Among these will be the future Redmi Turbo 6 Max, which should arrive here as POCO X9 Pro Max: now the insider Digital Chat Station also reveals the launch window, in addition to reiterating the specifications we should find on board.
According to the leaker, the Redmi cousin’s debut would be set for January, the same month in which we witnessed the launch of the current Turbo 5 and 5 Max. At this point we can hypothesize a similar time window for the international versions: POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max were launched in March, so it is likely that the future POCO X9 Pro and X9 Pro Max will arrive in the same period.
Anyway, more than the release window, what stands out is the technical department of the new Max model. According to the Chinese insider, the device will be larger, with a display of a full 7″ diagonal and 2K resolution. To power everything there would again be a Dimensity 9-series chipset, but the real upgrade should be the battery.
For the Redmi device, a 10,000 mAh unit is planned, an exorbitant amount but in a slim body thanks to silicon-carbon technology.
The outlook could be rosy for us in the West as well: Redmi Turbo 5 Max was launched in China with 9,000 mAh and reached Europe with 8,500 mAh (as the POCO X8 Pro Max). Following this logic, the next POCO could pop up with 9,500 mAh, a substantial amount.
