Initially Netflix offered a< free trial to potential subscribers (the luxury of a full month of use), but in 2019 this option was removed. However things may have changed in the last hours, at least for some selected users.
According to what has emerged both internationally and in Italy, Netflix is offering in certain cases a free trial, obtainable with all currently available subscription plans.
The new promotion is valid only for new subscribers, and the conditions seem to vary based on the browser used. Simply open the Netflix page and sign up for the first time to access a variable free trial, lasting 7 days, 14 days or up to as much as 30 days.
At the end of the free trial period, the subscription plan automatically renews – the price varies based on the choice between Standard with ads, Standard and Premium. However some payment methods may not be eligible for this promotion, according to the official site.
In March, US users faced price hikes on Netflix subscriptions, but for the moment there have been no changes regarding the Italy plans. The last increase in Italy came into effect on October 18, 2024 and since then the prices have remained as follows – starting from €6.99 per month for the ad-supported plan.
