July will be dedicated to Samsung’s new foldable flagship phones, but there’s also a more affordable addition on the horizon. Galaxy A27 is the only mid-range missing to complete the series: the launch now seems imminent and, after images and specifications, the supposed prices are also surfacing for European markets. Spoiler: they’re higher, and we assume it’s due to the crisis in the tech world.
In this period we are living through one of the darkest times in the entire tech sector: the memory crisis – almost entirely absorbed by artificial intelligence – has led to higher costs for manufacturers, who are continually looking for ways to offset the expenses.
In many cases there has been a hike in the list prices; regarding Samsung in particular, the Asian company managed to absorb part of the increases with the Galaxy S26 series (at least for some configurations) but unfortunately this isn’t a strategy that can be applied to every product.
Apparently the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A27 will bear the consequences of the crisis: the well-known insider Roland Quandt – renowned for his reliability – has published the prices for Europe, higher than those of its predecessor.
Prices are said to be 349€ and 439€, respectively for the 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB variants; Galaxy A26, in the same configurations, debuted in Italy at 319.9€ and 369.9€. Samsung has not yet confirmed the release date of the mid-range, but we are almost at the end: leaks have offered a comprehensive overview of both design and specs and now, with the addition of the prices, the device is without secrets.
