On May 28, the launch event for the Xiaomi 17T series will take place, but the new smartphones won’t be the only novelty. Lei Jun’s company should also present other additions to its accessories ecosystem, including the earbuds Xiaomi Buds 6.
A well-known insider has published a slew of details about the earbuds, including images, technical specifications, and even the possible price for the European market.
The design of the earbuds doesn’t seem to diverge too much from the look of the previous model: similar to the TWS Xiaomi Buds 5, we have a semi in-ear wearability, a pebble-shaped case with a dual finish (glossy and matte) and elegant colorways. The current model is available in black, white and gold while the upcoming Xiaomi Buds 6 seem to replace this last color with a pink tone.
There are no details on the Pro version (usually with in-ear tips), so it’s likely they will arrive at a later time — as happened with Buds 5 Pro.
The insider who revealed the design and details mentions a price of 129€, much higher than that of the previous model (99€). As for the technical side, the new earbuds would be equipped with the following features (all reported by the leaker):
As mentioned at the opening of the article, the launch event is set for next May 28 — together with Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro. If you are interested in the company’s new flagships, remember there is an active launch promo to receive €100 off.
Finally, we have collected for you all the rumors about the 17T series: there are images, technical specifications and prices, clearly the result of leaks so far.
