This year Nothing opted for strategic downsizing: the response to the tech sector crisis is simple, namely the philosophy of “few but good”. No flagship, therefore, but two mid-to-high-end devices with very respectable specifications and an attractive look.
It seems that the CMF satellite brand has also chosen the cautious path, proceeding slowly and without pressure. At the moment there are rumors of CMF Phone 3 Pro, the new ‘flagship’ device of the series: however we are more than a year away from the predecessor and, based on what has emerged, there will still be to wait.
The current CMF Phone 2 Pro was announced last April and its successor was expected for the same period. After this, attention began shifting to June, but it seems the wait will be slightly longer.
The latest rumors point to the third quarter of the year, most likely by the end of August or, at the latest, September. However this will not be a dead period: the source claims that, while waiting for the CMF Phone 3 Pro debut, a budget Nothing-branded phone will arrive. Unfortunately there are no other details, at least for now.
In the meantime we also have almost a complete overview of the specs: the next CMF model will switch from MediaTek to Qualcomm, with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Below you will find an initial draft of the technical sheet, the result of leaks so far. The specifications seem particularly solid but there are two details left: the price and the design, perhaps the latter aspect capable of surpassing the former (given the distinctive aesthetics of the lineup).
