OnePlus Pad 4 official: the new flagship tablet with a 144 Hz display

Despite the current situation not being the most favorable, the Chinese manufacturer continues to push the accelerator with the announcement of new products. The novelty of the moment is OnePlus Pad 4, the new flagship tablet released in Global markets (starting from India): once again the Pete Lau-led company does not compromise and unveils an Android pad with top-tier specifications and a display designed for maximum responsiveness.

The aesthetics of the new tablet nod to the previous OnePlus Pad 3, positioning itself in strong continuity with the latter. The display remains unchanged, with a 13.2″ diagonal and a 7:5 format, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling up to 540 Hz. The result is a fluid and responsive panel, suitable for gaming and productivity, with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits – slightly improved visibility under sunlight compared to the 900 nits of Pad 3.

The cooling system occupies a huge surface area, a full 40,760 mm2, considering both the liquid section with a vapor chamber and the graphite layers. This is an essential package given the combination of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (Qualcomm’s top chipset) and the super battery of 13,380 mAh, the most capacious ever seen on a OnePlus tablet.

Despite stellar performance, the OnePlus Pad 4 maintains a slim profile of just 5.94 mm, with a unibody metal body and two finishes (Dune Glow and Sage Mist). The tablet debuted in India in configurations of 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB, priced respectively at about 539a4 and 584a4 at the current exchange rate.
