Compared with the usual timelines, this year Samsung’s flagship devices will arrive late – precisely February 25. The wait for the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is nerve-wracking for everyone – enthusiasts, industry insiders, and the company itself – but apparently it is also for the Indian markets.
Several days are still left until the release of the series, yet the new flagship already has a look-alike budget, which mimics its style with precision (but with internal specs of a totally different kind).
The smartphone in question is called Bold T650 and looks (from afar) like a Galaxy S26 Ultra, but it has absolutely nothing to do with Samsung. The manufacturer is Snexian, an Indian-origin brand in terms of origin and distribution but with devices imported from China or assembled with Chinese components.
The Indian/Chinese clone of the new flagship sports the same look, but unlike the original model it has the soul of a budget phone. The price is around $72 at the exchange rate while the specs are entry-level.
On board there are 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage; it should be a 5G device, but the caveat is obligatory. Unfortunately – or perhaps fortunately? – we don’t know the full specifications. Anyway, clone smartphones are not a novelty, so we can assume a modest technical sheet.
This kind of phenomenon is typical with every new launch, especially when it comes to phones with a high-name – as in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. As soon as leaks become more substantial and the design is almost official, budget look-alikes begin to appear.
For the real Samsung flagship, we will have to wait for the event on 25 February; in the meantime, if you are curious to discover all the news you can take a look at our in-depth article with leaks and confirmations so far.
