vivo V80 Lite 5G is no longer a mystery since last week: the device has already arrived in markets such as Pakistan and Bangladesh, and it is essentially a rebrand of the Chinese model vivo S2.
Just when the specs seemed almost defined, a brand-new 10,000 mAh variant surfaced, a battery capacity significantly higher than anything seen so far and that is poised to become the model’s real calling card.
Official channels tied to the debut in a new market confirm it: the vivo V80 Lite 5G will also arrive in Malaysia on September 3, 2026, with pre-orders already open, and it is precisely in view of this launch that the first concrete details about the maxi-battery variant have leaked.
The 10,000 mAh variant of V80 Lite will arrive in three configurations: 6/128 GB, 6/256 GB and 8/256 GB, thus covering both the price-conscious audience and those seeking larger storage space. On the aesthetic front, the device will be available in three colors – Pink, Green and Black – while the design differs completely from the smartphone announced last week.
As far as performance is concerned, a Geekbench run of the device (with the codename V2626) confirmed the presence of MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo Turbo, while a TUV certification would have revealed support for fast charging at 44W.
As for the rest of the specs, starting with the display and camera, there are no details at the moment. However the date for the maxi battery variant is set for September 3, so we are almost there to learn everything about this novelty.
In the meantime, we leave you with the technical specifications of the model launched in August: here are all the details.
