After the debut in China, OPPO A7 Pro is gearing up for the international launch, this time accompanied by a variant so far unseen, OPPO A7 Pro Max. Both models would have appeared on Geekbench in the global version, with one detail that clearly distinguishes them: two different chipsets, MediaTek and Qualcomm.
The base model OPPO A7 Pro would have appeared on the benchmark platform with model number CPH2931, paired with a MediaTek MT6835 chipset, which would correspond to the Dimensity 6360 Max. It is the same SoC seen on the Chinese version, recently launched. In the test the model would have scored 719 points in single-core and 2,074 in multi-core, with 8 GB of RAM and Android 16-based.
The story is different for OPPO A7 Pro Max, identified with the model number CPH2909: here the benchmarks indicate a Qualcomm SM4850 chipset, which would be attributable to the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5. Also in this case it is the same chipset as the Chinese variant, launched in the homeland in August.
The phone recorded slightly higher scores than its smaller brother, 834 points in single-core and 2,181 in multi-core, also with 8 GB of RAM and Android 16.
Therefore, apart from the difference in processors MediaTek/Qualcomm, the two global variants should maintain the same characteristics already seen on the Chinese models. According to rumors so far, the specifications should not change even regarding display, battery, camera and charging technology.
To sum up, no substantial changes are expected for the international launch. Still, it is wise to remain cautious: OPPO A6 Pro Global and A6 Pro Chinese feature completely different designs, so it remains to be seen whether the look of OPPO A7 Pro and Pro Max will be the same as the counterparts shown in China.
