July confirms itself as a watershed month for the Chinese smartphone market, especially for long-time users. OnePlus has announced the farewell to Europe and the United States, while OxygenOS will no longer exist and the brand’s smartphones (current and future) will switch to OPPO’s interface.
The updates also involve Realme UI: the parent company has now decided to streamline the software side, bundling the company’s smartphones under the banner of ColorOS 17.
Over the course of this year, a slew of Realme devices will receive the update to ColorOS 17. An official list is not yet available, but we can already compile a provisional list of the most likely candidates.

For now, it is not known which Realme model will be the first to receive OPPO’s new software. Regarding the release window, ColorOS 17 will arrive in autumn; it’s likely that the launch event will be scheduled for October, after which the rollout on the parent company’s devices and on Realme- and OnePlus-branded smartphones and tablets will begin.
