The Xiaomi product ecosystem spans every aspect of users’ lives: Lei Jun’s home is tech, lifestyle, accessories and gadgets of all kinds. If there’s one thing the Chinese brand nails in a masterful way, it’s transforming simple products into smart solutions, easily controllable via phone.
With Xiaomi Mijia Smart Fragrance Diffuser Plant Extract even a small and basic device with a fragrance diffuser can become smart!
The gadget has been launched via the usual platform YouPin and presents itself as a premium variant of an existing diffuser. The device features a minimalist design that doesn’t give up an elegant touch – in Xiaomi’s perfect style. The housing is finished in a light gold color, while the lower half is characterized by smoked glass that hints at the liquid inside.
The smart Mijia diffuser is born with a double need: to diffuse a delicate fragrance relaxing and to offer a complete experience, with a touch of ambient light.
Inside the device only premium essential oils from the Orpur by Givaudan brand are used, known for its high quality products. Each fragrance contains natural plant extracts, such as campanula, lavender and black tea.
Regarding the ambient lighting system, it is a solution with 16 million colors and it automatically activates when it detects someone nearby. Clearly the standout features are the smart capabilities: the small gadget can be controlled directly via smartphone; it also supports the Xiaomi Connect platform and can integrate seamlessly with other products in the brand’s ecosystem.
Currently the new premium smart diffuser has been launched in China via the YouPin crowdfunding platform, at a price of about €37 at the current exchange rate (i.e., 299 yuan). If you’re curious to try this gadget from the Xiaomi ecosystem, we recommend the previous version, available at €34 on AliExpress.
The features are the same: a fragrance diffuser that works via smartphone, with delicate scents, an ambient light with 16 million colors and a minimalist design. If you don’t see the box below correctly, try disabling AdBlock.
