The debut of Android 17 is getting closer and more tangible: it’s only a matter of time and then, subsequently, the respective UIs of the main brands (Chinese and beyond) will arrive. Among them, OPPO won’t be missing, with the latest ColorOS 17: the next software update is expected to be remarkable both for the implementation of Google’s new OS version and for the possible change in style — inspired by Cupertino’s Liquid Glass, rumors say.
While waiting for the launch, let’s take a first look at smartphones and tablets that should receive the update: for now this is a provisional list, so take it with caution.
The list below includes new and old models from the Chinese manufacturer, phones and tablets, foldables and traditional devices. ColorOS 17 should be a substantial update and not a simple upgrade: consequently it remains to be seen which less recent devices will be able to run the new interface.
Find N Series
Find X Series
Reno Series
F Series
K Series
Pad Series
At the moment OPPO has not yet confirmed the ColorOS 17 release date – nor the compatible devices. The stable debut of Android 17 is expected during June, followed by the UIs of the various brands. The current ColorOS 16 was announced in October, so it is very likely that this will be the launch window also for the next version.
To conclude, you will have noticed that the list does not include smartphones from the OPPO A series: this is because the mid-range of the family often has an uncertain and variable update policy. Therefore it’s better to wait for the official list (to avoid disappointing anyone).
