OPPO Find N7 will have an all-new design, here are the expected changes

While major competitors such as Apple and Samsung seem to be about to unveil new foldables with particularly large displays, the information leaked in recent days confirms that OPPO is ready to respond decisively.

The next exponent of the company’s famous family of foldable smartphones could debut on the market under the name Find N7 Wide, introducing an aspect ratio decidedly more extended than what users were accustomed to in the past.

The most anticipated component of this unreleased device is undoubtedly the internal panel. According to the rumors recently circulating on the Asian platform Weibo, engineers have managed to develop a flexible display capable of minimizing physical defects.

The troublesome central crease, typical of many current devices, will become almost completely invisible, ensuring thus a very high-level experience.

In addition to the improvements to the display, the renewal will radically affect also the back shell. The design of the new smartphone will definitively abandon the iconic circular camera island, an aesthetic element that had distinctly characterized the form of the previous OPPO Find N6.

In its place, there will be an unprecedented camera block aligned in a horizontal position. This particular choice will give the phone a very different look.

Release timing and the traditional lineup

From a commercial standpoint, the timing points to the first quarter of 2027 as the launch window for the foldable.

The question remains what the company’s final distribution strategy will be: there is a real possibility that two distinct models will be unveiled, allowing buyers to choose between a direct successor to the Find N6 with the standard dimensions and the new enlarged “Wide” variant.

Leaks have gone even further, revealing some interesting previews about the future Find X10 Ultra, the top-tier device in a non-foldable form factor.

This smartphone will focus on a bezel-less front panel to maximize the area available to the user. On the back, however, it will maintain a camera module aesthetically similar to that of the current Find X9 Ultra, ensuring solid continuity for the classic series and reserving the real structural transformations to the foldable line.
