Nothing Phone (4b) at the center of leaks: display, battery and camera revealed

The debut of Nothing Phone (4b) is now just around the corner: the budget smartphone from Carl Pei’s company will arrive worldwide on July 7, and now we have an almost complete overview of what to expect. A recent leak allows us to take a look at the color variants, while a well-known insider lays out the specifications.

The design is no longer a secret: the device has been shown by Nothing, confirming a refined aesthetic and the rear Glyph Bar light, with four square LEDs.

Entering into the heart of the specifications, the smartphone should offer a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The images clearly show a flat display and a cutout for the selfie camera; the bezels don’t seem perfectly symmetric, a detail that hints at the budget nature of the device.

The front sensor is still unknown while the main camera module should offer a 50 MP sensor, accompanied by an additional lens. We still don’t know whether it will be an ultra-wide (8 MP) or a depth sensor (2 MP).

The chipset has already been revealed by Geekbench: it is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, launched in early 2025, a 4 nm solution with a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz.

Speculations continue, citing a 5,400 mAh battery but without details on fast charging. Also from the images the Essential Key button on the left side is evident, useful to summon some device features (screenshot, screen recording, or voice note, content that is later archived in the Essential Space).

The unveiling of Nothing Phone (4b) is set for July 7: we just have to wait for the day of the event to discover the official details and the price for Italy (fingers crossed).
