Recently, Honor has launched its latest Battery Phone, the most capacious device ever built to date. The Chinese manufacturer has finally surpassed the 11,000 mAh milestone, but the brand’s battery capacity is set to increase even further.
The latest rumors from Digital Chat Station point to a mysterious smartphone that is entering the mass-production phase, with a colossal 14,000 mAh battery on board!
Honor bets everything on battery life: will the next smartphone reach 14,000 mAh?

The Chinese insider doesn’t reveal anything else: design, specifications, and charging speed remain shrouded in mystery. The only additional detail permitted concerns weight, at around about 220 grams.
The latest Honor X80 Pro Max was launched with 11,000 mAh and a chassis thickness of 8.08 mm and a weight of 203 grams. We’re talking about a classic smartphone, equipped with a gigantic battery: despite the absurd capacity, the dimensions remain unchanged.
This is made possible thanks to silicon-carbon battery technology: already in use on a lot of smartphones (also in Italy), this allows high-density cells while keeping a slim profile.
Over the years, Honor has been pressing on the accelerator by offering increasingly advanced solutions. First 7,000/8,000 mAh, then 10,000 mAh (even on a top-of-the-line model) and now the milestone of 11,000 mAh. As revealed by the leaker, the next step should be 14,000 mAh: speaking of mass production, it means the device should debut by the end of the year.
On battery life, we expect stellar performance; the already mentioned X80 Pro Max guarantees up to 42 days in standby and more than 26 hours of video playback in streaming (certified by the Guinness World Record). Consequently, the new model should offer significantly higher performance.
Meanwhile, competitors wouldn’t be sitting on their hands: Huawei would be working on its 10,000 mAh device, and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is expected to make an appearance with a similar capacity.
