The release date of Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro is set for 28 May: not only the Global division confirms it, but also the official Italian site — which confirms the first launch offer. The teaser shows the design of the camera module, similar to that of the previous generation and close to the aesthetics of the main series.
Again, the Chinese company offers camera phones in collaboration with Leica: the logo of the photographic brand is clearly visible at the center of the module. As of writing Xiaomi has not revealed any further official details, but the leak machine has been in motion for a while — with images and technical details
Based on what has emerged so far, Xiaomi 17T would be equipped with a 6.59″ AMOLED display, the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset and a 6,500 mAh battery. The bigger brother, Xiaomi 17T Pro, would have several improvements: a larger display (6.83″), the flagship Dimensity 9500 SoC and a larger battery (7,000 mAh) with faster charging and support for wireless charging.
The Leica camera system would feature a triple-sensor setup of 50 + 12 + 50 MP with ultra-wide and telephoto. The difference would lie precisely in the latter, classic for the 17T and with periscope zoom for the 17T Pro.
Clearly, information on specifications should be taken with caution until confirmation from the brand. The launch offers, however, have already been confirmed by the official store: simply register via the dedicated page to receive a 100€ discount voucher valid only for the Xiaomi 17T series (from 3:00 PM on May 28, until 11:59 PM on June 30).
By pre-ordering one of the two devices by 2:00 PM on May 28 and then, subsequently, completing the purchase, you will receive as a gift a Xiaomi 120W HyperCharge Combo charger. Additionally, you will be able to obtain a voucher for three months of Virgin Active Revolution.
