In the past few days, the Chinese company confirmed the presentation date for its new gaming flagship. REDMAGIC 11S Pro is expected on May 18 in China, and now official confirmation arrives for both the design and the Snapdragon processor we will find on board. Additionally, the flagship has been spotted on Geekbench, with the first results in action.
The design of REDMAGIC 11S Pro is very similar to that of REDMAGIC 11 Pro: the display is completely “clean”, with a selfie camera integrated underneath it; the rear hosts a triple camera and the ring LED flash, with a futuristic-looking back cover and a clearly visible liquid cooling system. Some details on the rear have changed, but nothing groundbreaking.
The official renders published by REDMAGIC clearly show the label Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition: this is the enhanced version of Qualcomm’s current flagship SoC. The chip is new only in name since it has already debuted as a temporary exclusive aboard Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The main cores of the Oryon CPU in the customized For Galaxy variant reach a frequency of 4.74 GHz, an increase of 2.8% over the 4.61 GHz of the standard chipset. Qualcomm also guarantees improvements for the graphics part and for the NPU (and thus AI-related operations).
Returning to the other features of the phone, the 11S Pro will also be equipped with a fluorinated liquid cooling system, the same used in AI servers.
The smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench, with the codename NX809J: although the commercial name does not appear, it is clear that it is REDMAGIC 11S Pro or the Pro+ version. The device posted 4,010 points in single-core and 11,187 points in multi-core, with 16 GB of RAM and Android 16.
The chipset shows a maximum frequency of 4.74 GHz, so it is clear that this is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition.
