OPPO Reno 16, the Global series arriving soon: launch already this summer?

The 25 May will host the launch event dedicated to the OPPO Reno 16 series, at least for China. But how long will Global users have to wait before getting their hands on the new mid-range devices? The latest rumors are promising: apparently the international debut could be closer than we imagine!

OPPO Reno 16 and 16 Pro: Global launch is planned for summer, according to the latest rumors

Based on the latest rumors, it seems that the debut in India will take place in the month of July, so just over a month after the Chinese release. Additionally, rumors talk of at least four smartphones: OPPO Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16 Pro Mini and Reno 16c, in line with what happened with the current Reno 15 series.

For clarity, it is worth noting that Global models of the lineup often present various differences compared to the Chinese variants; also things change again with the European versions (such as the Italian one). In general there are elements in common such as design and various specifications, but also some changes.

Regarding the debut in Italy (still not confirmed) it is likely that we will have a lineup similar to the Reno 15 family, therefore with the base Reno 16, the bigger brother Reno 16 Pro and the variant Reno 15, thus with the base model Reno 16, the elder Reno 16 Pro and the variant Reno 16 F / FS (the latter already featured in a certification).

What to expect from the Reno 16 series

The debut in China is scheduled for May 25, so we will have to wait before any details on Global versions. Regarding the upcoming models, Reno 16 base was recently spotted on Geekbench with the Dimensity 8550 chipset.

The standard version should offer a 6.32″ display, while the Pro model would have a larger panel. Both will share the triple camera of 200 + 50 + 50 MP; what will differ should be only the sensors, according to what the company itself reports.
