In the end, the much-talked-about Trump T1 Phone has begun shipping to users who pre-ordered it. Initially scheduled for August of last year, the device had to face a series of snags and production delays that hindered its debut until today.
Promoted as a Made-in-USA flagship, it is actually a mid-range with an Asian flavor: not exactly a luxury product, either in terms of specs or aesthetics.
And here is where Caviar comes into play, with a surprise move presenting its alternative that defining it premium is an understatement: an iPhone 17 Pro Max with a Trump-inspired design, crafted from precious materials and on sale at a jaw-dropping price.
The famous brand of Russian origin (since 2022 Caviar International has its headquarters in Dubai) specializes in customizing tech devices. The brand’s creations are true luxury accessories, extremely limited editions adorned with metals, gems and “special” materials (such as crocodile leather and even meteorite fragments).
This time it’s the turn of T-Great, the customized version of iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max: the original Trump Phone is a mid-range device, but in this case we are talking about a true top-of-the-line model – to boot, branded by Apple.
And if the Cupertino house isn’t enough to attract attention, then simply take a look at the design and materials to convince Trump’s most discerning supporters.
These phones are available only in the 1 TB variant, the most expensive, and feature an alternate chassis. The glass panel has been replaced with a solution made in a jewelry alloy with double plating in 24-karat gold; the back bears the three-dimensional letter “T” and the American flag (made using cloisonné technique, with colored vitreous enamel).
Each model is made specifically for the customer who orders it, and multiple aspects can be customized — and engravings on the side edges can be added. The price of T-Great is $10,910, but Caviar has not specified how the amount will vary if modifications are requested.
Recently the company launched a new series dedicated to iPhone 18 Pro: the top-of-the-line will arrive in September, but it’s already possible to choose among four luxury versions (based on the colorways leaked recently, including the new Dark Cherry shade). For the more curious, in March Caviar presented a commemorative iPhone 17 Pro/Max commemorative dedicated to Apple’s 50th anniversary – containing a piece of Steve Jobs’s original turtleneck.
