Last month the Chinese company announced vivo X300 FE, but the launch took place quietly and only for the Russian market. However things should change over the coming weeks, with a new Global version arriving in a new green color and with the addition of the collaboration with Zeiss (which already covers the entire flagship range).
Recently, insider Yogesh Brar revealed the existence of the vivo X300 FE Global for the Indian market: the device will feature all the characteristics of the model announced previously, but with some additions. The launch is expected in the first week of May; clearly the insider is talking about India but it is not to be ruled out that the X300 FE could arrive elsewhere as well.
At the moment all the attention of Italian enthusiasts is focused on vivo X300 Ultra, which will be on sale from mid-April. The following month could be the ideal time for the return of the FE model — in Italy we have already seen the launch of X200 FE — although for now it is only a hypothesis.
Returning to vivo X300 FE, the new Global version should drop white and arrive in black, purple, and the new shade green. The leaked image not only shows the color but also hints at the Zeiss logo, a sign that the device will be part of the partnership between the two brands. Remember that vivo X300 FE launched in Russia does not feature references to the photography brand.
It is likely that the “alternative” version of the X300 FE will use Zeiss optics, at least for the main sensor and the telephoto lens — as happened with vivo X200 FE. Clearly we also expect a software contribution, both for color management and for potential modes dedicated to bokeh.
Finally it seems that the new FE series smartphone will arrive with a photography kit consisting of a grip with a shutter button and a Zeiss 200 mm external telephoto lens.
