A few hours after the initial Geekbench benchmarks, we’re back to talking about the Samsung Galaxy A27 with yet another improvement on the horizon. While the spotlight has recently shone on the Galaxy A37 and A57 models, the latest rumors confirm that the South Korean giant does not intend to neglect its more affordable mid-range tier.
Based on what has emerged recently, the next addition to the series will have a new front camera, in line with the one onboard the higher-end siblings. Although the resolution shifts from the 13 MP of the Galaxy A26 to 12 MP, the new sensor is technically superior thanks to larger physical dimensions – in order to capture more light, delivering higher-quality selfies in low-light conditions and improving overall sharpness thanks to faster exposure times.
It is not yet certain, but the new selfie camera could enable video recording in 4K at 30 fps, compared to the previous model’s Full HD at 30 fps. On the rear, the configuration remains proven with a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide module, and a 2 MP macro sensor dedicated to the closest details.
From a pure performance standpoint, the Galaxy A27 makes a step forward by adopting the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor (as revealed by the benchmarks), the same unit that powers the Galaxy A36.
Below you will find an overview of leaked specifications while the most recent information indicates that the debut of the Galaxy A27 will take place during the summer or shortly after (at the moment there are no confirmations from Samsung).
