At the end of March Samsung unveiled Galaxy A57 and A37, yet there is still no model to complete the new generation of devices in the A series. Things should change soon, and now, after a long period off the radar, it seems that the time for Samsung Galaxy A27 is approaching. Thanks to the render from OnLeaks we can take a first look at the phone and discover what will be the most important new feature.
Earlier this month we had a primer on the technical side, but in this case we’re looking at the design. OnLeaks’ renders are concept renders based on information gathered from his sources and have proven reliable on numerous occasions. The final look may change slightly from that of the images, but the overall design should be the one shown.
On the one hand we are dealing with a classic model of the A series (with a vertical capsule camera), on the other hand Samsung Galaxy A27 changes things compared to the previous Galaxy A26. The front part loses the anachronistic waterdrop notch, in favor of a hole for the selfie camera: not a minor detail, but a radical change that contributes to having a less cheap appearance.
The device looks less affordable (though with a slightly pronounced chin), with a style more in line with that of its older siblings. Anyway the notch remains for the smallest in the family, Galaxy A17 – launched in Italy last August.
At the moment Samsung has not yet revealed the launch window, but it is likely that the release is not far off. While waiting for official details you can check out the leaked specs.
