OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite: the small member of the series returns, spotted on Geekbench

Now that the new OnePlus Nord 6 has been launched, we just have to wait for the other models in the family, which would be as many as two (according to leaks so far). In the meantime, OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is eager to release: the small one of the range has appeared unexpectedly on Geekbench, with a preview of what will be the core of its technical sheet. At the center of the experience we will have a MediaTek chipset, but better than the earliest rumors.

The new smartphone has appeared on the benchmark platform with the code CPH2943, but for now the commercial name is still missing. On board there would be the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM; the software would be based on Android 16, or at least that’s the case for the test unit. The scores are 1,068 in single-core and 2,953 in multi-core.

Although it’s not a high-end chipset, the Dimensity 7400 represents a leap forward both compared to its predecessor (Nord CE 4 Lite mounted the Snapdragon 695) and to earlier rumors, which had the mid-range equipped with the Dimensity 6300 (from 2024).

Past leaks have revealed part of the specifications, highlighting the budget nature of the phone. So far, we are talking about a model with an LCD display of 6,7″ diagonal but with a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hz. Present in the lineup are a 50 MP camera and a 16 MP selfie module while powering everything should be a 7,000 mAh battery.

Staying with leaks, the launch would be scheduled for the month of May, at least for the Indian market. Additionally the budget phone will arrive alongside OnePlus Nord CE 6, the mid-range model equipped with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and features that bridge between the Lite model and the plain Nord 6.
