The 2026 start for Motorola opened with the four mid-range models Moto G77, G67, G17 and G17 Power, but thanks to leaks so far, we know another model is on the way. Moto G87 will be the next addition to the device family and now the usual Onleaks reveals its design thanks to some press-render images. There is also a noticeable leap forward for the camera department, thanks to the new main sensor.
The new Motorola mid-range offers a look the brand has long since perfected, with a squared camera module that blends seamlessly with the chassis and a flat display with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera. The aesthetics are very similar to those of the previous Moto G86, launched in Italy last year.
The images reveal the presence of a 200 MP main camera with OIS stabilization, probably accompanied by a ultra-wide-angle: certainly a welcomed step forward compared to the 50 MP of the predecessor. There is a third ring, but it does not seem to contain a sensor, so it seems more like an element to maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
At the moment the rest of the leaks is still sparse: there are rumors of a MediaTek Dimensity 6000-series chipset but for now there are no clues about the exact SoC (perhaps the 6500, following the trail of the predecessors). The device should offer at least 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, expandable via micro SD.
We note that the Moto G87 has appeared on an online store with a price tag, about €406. This is a detail to take with a grain of salt while the rest of the leaks concern the colors available at launch: at least six Pantone shades have emerged, namely Overture and Blue Atoll (those in the renders above), along with Arctic Seal, Black Olive, Nile Blue and Shaded Spruce.
