Fujifilm has officially announced the arrival of instax SPOT. It is a device designed as a business solution, intended to be installed in locations characterized by high foot traffic, such as cinemas, amusement parks, museums, and trade shows.
According to Shin Udono, Senior Vice President for Imaging Solutions of the company in Europe, the instrument has been developed to require minimal maintenance by the responsible operators.
The device allows users to take and print photographs in a few minutes, turning commercial spaces into gathering areas where visitors can obtain a tangible keepsake of their visit.
The hardware of the device is offered in two distinct configurations: a tabletop version, named Tabletop, and a column-structure named Standalone.
Technically, the unit integrates a LED lighting system. The lights are distributed around the screen, acting as a ring light designed to provide studio-like illumination. Regarding the “film”, the machine supports two specific formats, namely instax mini and instax SQUARE.
