At the moment, foldable smartphones with the most powerful wired charging are OPPO Find N5 and vivo X Fold 5, both equipped with 80W wired charging support. Things could change in a few weeks with the debut of the Honor Magic V6: a particularly fierce challenge is expected since the rival is said to jump to as much as 120W.
Revealed by the Chinese 3C certification body: the flagship has appeared in the database with the codes PNM-AN10 and PNM-AN20. It would be the standard version and the variant with satellite connectivity, both equipped with ultrafast 120W charging.
Unfortunately the certification reveals no further details, and this is where the rumors come into play. The new foldable is expected to arrive with a large 7,000 mAh battery while performance would be entrusted to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Among other features there are rumors of a 200 MP camera, a leap forward compared to the current Magic V5.
The launch of the Honor Magic V6 is expected at MWC 2026, as confirmed by the company itself; in addition to the foldable there will also be Honor Robot Phone, surely the strangest smartphone we will find at Barcelona’s tech fair.
