Xiaomi’s 2026 lineup will be crowded from the start: Xiaomi 17, 17 Ultra and 17T arriving Global

The new year has just begun, but we are already eager to discover when Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra will be announced in the Global version. The latest rumors go further: they reveal the release window (yet another confirmation) and also add another model to the lineup, arriving shortly after its bigger brothers.

According to a well-known insider, Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra will be announced in Global version during the month of March – in line with the previous rumors. The leaker refers to the Indian market, however this could also affect us in the West.

The release window coincides with that of the current internationally available top-tier flagships; furthermore it is likely that Xiaomi’s flagships will be among the stars at MWC 2026 – which will be held from March 2 to 5 – an event we could call a tradition.

The month of April would see the global launch of Xiaomi 17T, clearly earlier than usual: typically the launch month is September, as was the case with Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro.

A roadmap that convinces (but still to be taken with caution)

It should be noted that such a timetable makes sense: during Europe’s most important tech fair (and one of the world’s most important) there will be room for the two flagship models. Xiaomi 17 is the compact flagship with high performance, while Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the Camera Phone for those aiming at absolute excellence.

As the entry point to the Xiaomi 17T series, arriving shortly after: the device is still unreleased but given past releases it could be based on the Redmi K90 Ultra – flagship coming to China in the coming months.
