Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition: Here is the Olympics-themed Special Edition

On the occasion of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics — scheduled to begin on February 4 — the Asian manufacturer has launched Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition. The new special edition has been created specifically for the sporting event, with a refreshed and exceedingly elegant design.

As usual, it is a limited edition that cannot be purchased through traditional channels: Samsung will gift a device to each Olympic and Paralympic athlete in competition, for a total of about 3,800 units.

From a technical standpoint, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition does not differ from the classic model (introduced last July, here is our recensione). The novelties are cosmetic with a design that celebrates the participation of athletes in the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The device features the characteristic blue color with the Samsung logo and the Milano Cortina 2026 Games logo; the gold metal frame symbolizes the athletes’ pursuit of excellence and podium moments, as well as the brand’s aspiration to reach the top.

The new Olympic Edition is also equipped with a transparent magnetic case with a blue circular magnet, surrounded by golden laurel leaves added as a victory motif.

Each phone includes a special Winter Olympics-themed wallpaper, created specifically for the occasion. The image features colorful curves representing winter sports, inspired by the marks generated by the interaction between the blades of skates and the icy surfaces.

There are also software additions with various apps and essential services dedicated to the sporting event at the start of the year. For example, the Galaxy Athlete Card experience is present, offering a digital tool to exchange profiles, collect cards, and participate in interactive activities.

Now Brief feature of Galaxy AI, which keeps athletes up to date with the latest Olympic-related news at a glance. Finally, athletes will receive a 100 GB eSIM.

The distribution of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition will begin on January 30; as noted earlier, this is an event-exclusive edition and therefore cannot be purchased in stores.
