Realme 16 confirmed for January, with a “polarizing” style

The release date of Realme 16 5G is set for 29 January: the launch will take place in Vietnam together with the older brother Realme 16 Pro, which we know well. The new models from the Asian brand have surfaced in various markets but for the moment there are no details for the European market and for Italy: all that remains is to wait, and in the meantime we can preview the latest news.

Returning to Realme 16, the device will offer a look that is very different from both the phones in the same range and those of previous ones. Clearly inspired by the iPhone Air and the Google Pixel series, the little one of the family mounts a camera module in a horizontal capsule – a brand-new feature for the brand.

The coup de grâce is the selfie mirror, inserted next to the camera (still in the same module). It is precisely a small mirror useful for looking at oneself during selfies: an original solution, compared to a secondary screen – like the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max – which would have driven up the price.
