OPPO Find X9s: the mid-range flagship could overshadow the rest of the series

After unveiling the respective generations of flagship, the various Chinese brands are ready to double down with Ultra models and other additions aimed at the high end. Among the coming novelties, OPPO Find X9s presents itself as a fairly interesting alternative, a middle-ground option that seems to bridge the gap between the regular series and the next Camera Phone.

As we await the official launch, rumors are heating up: the specifications are now complete and all that’s left is the debut.

The next OPPO Find X9s will be among the first devices with Dimensity 9500s, according to what emerged in recent hours. MediaTek’s latest SoC arrived on the market together with Redmi Turbo 5 Max: it is a refashioning of the former flagship Dimensity 9400+, from which it borrowed basically everything.

Compared to Find X9 and X9 Pro there would be two additions: compact dimensions and a smaller display (6.32″ against 6.59″ and 6.78″ of the larger siblings) and the addition of no less than two 200 MP sensors, for the main camera and the periscope telephoto.

As previously leaked, the compact flagship should arrive in China during the second quarter and a Global version is also planned (along with Find X9 Ultra and Find N6). However it is probable that the international variant is destined only for Southeast Asian markets and therefore will not see the light here.
