The release of Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is much more tangible, not only internationally but also for us, thanks to the European energy certification. The label indicates that the debut is now very close and reveals some details: given the nature of the source, it is clear that these are official information, focused on both the battery and the charging of the upcoming mid-range.
For those who may have missed a few details, the label EPREL is the new mandatory energy certification for all devices sold in Europe. Enacted last June, it precisely indicates the energy efficiency of smartphones and tablets — for more informed purchases by users and greater transparency from manufacturers.
Recently Vivo V70 was also spotted: the label officially confirmed that the device will arrive in Europe. Returning to Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, the device appeared with the code name A069P, a 5,080 mAh battery and the support for a 50W fast charging. Furthermore we know it will feature an IP65 water- and dust-resistant body.
The new model won’t change things compared to the current Phone (3a) Pro: same battery/charging and a small step forward over the IP64 chassis, even though the European label does not mention wireless charging.
Based on leaks so far, the next Nothing is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 7 chipset (perhaps 7 Gen 4), 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage (seems to be UFS 3.1), eSIM support and four color options. The leaks mention Black, White, Pink and Blue variants: the latter two are certainly a novelty for Carl Pei’s brand.
Recently the Nothing Phone (4a) “vanilla” has also received various certifications. In short, the debut seems near and perhaps could take place during the month of March — as with the Phone (3A) series.
