Motorola Edge 70, design revealed: it will be our ultrathin smartphone

The ultrathin smartphone fever is about to begin and after Samsung and Cupertino, the next model to arrive will be branded Motorola. After the first sighting we return to talk about the future Motorola Edge 70, this time with a more in-depth look at the design thanks to a slew of leaked images.

Motorola Edge 70 in the first leak images: what to expect from the first ultrathin model

In the days the brand confirmed the October launch of Moto X70 Air: the device will be announced in China and will arrive with a slim and sturdy chassis. Based on what the insider evleaks revealed, the phone should debut in Western markets under the name of Motorola Edge 70.

The first image previewed the design, characterized by an ultrathin body and a squared camera module. Now many new renders peek out, showing the colorways Lily Pad and Gadget Grey, in both cases in collaboration with Pantone.

Compared to the models in the Edge 60 series, the shift is evident: the next phone would feature straight edges and a flat screen, against the curved edges of the current generation. The new model would have a triple camera and a selfie module inset in a punch-hole. On the left side there would be the Moto AI button, while on the opposite side the volume rocker and the power button.

Motorola Edge 70 should offer a 50 MP main camera with OIS, while on the software side there would be native Android 16. However, at the moment there are no details on possible specifications.
