In the last few days Xiaomi previewed the launch of several products but the event couldn’t be too far away – given the volume of details. And indeed Lei Jun’s company has finally confirmed the appointment for the March 19 in China: after the launch of the new flagship models in Global version, now the company returns to its homeland with the debut of various additions to its ecosystem, in some cases perhaps also arriving at our latitudes.
The Xiaomi Latest News Event Is Set for March 19: Here’s What Will Be Presented

As anticipated in the opening – we reiterate again – the event on March 19 concerns the Chinese market. However, some of the announced novelties could find space in the West as well, perhaps in the second half of the year.
First of all the Asian company has confirmed the rumors that have been circulating for a while: the event will feature the new range Xiaomi SU7. The second generation of the brand’s electric car promises a complete renewal: launched in December 2023, it is the brand’s first vehicle – a high-performance electric sports sedan.
The event will also be the occasion for the company’s return to the laptop sector, after 3 years of silence. During this period only Redmi laptops were released while Xiaomi Book Pro 14 will arrive under the main brand: the device will have a light and slim body, elegant colors, an advanced cooling system and a flagship configuration with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H third generation.

Following the launch in China and Europe of the new premium wearable, Xiaomi Watch S5 is also on the horizon. Sporty and stylish, the watch will be equipped with HyperOS 3 and will swap the usual rotating bezel for an integrated one (for a slimmer body).
All of the devices mentioned will be shown for the Chinese market but it is very likely that Watch S5 will also arrive here in the future. Already in the past Xiaomi launched in Europe both a Wear OS watch and one equipped with HyperOS, so the return of the ‘S’ series seems plausible.
For the electric car, we know the brand’s expansion plans, but the actual Global launch (and in Europe) is planned for 2027. Finally, there is the laptop matter: Xiaomi has not yet brought its laptops to Italy, with the exception of the 2-in-1 Book S 12.4″. There is no confirmation and the only thing we can do is keep our fingers crossed.
